Vincent-Game-Poem
This Gamepoem is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.
This game-poem explores how dementia distorts everyday perception, how familiar objects, people, and tasks become unrecognisable or misleading. It offers a brief, empathetic glimpse into the confusion and frustration of Vincent, a retired mechanic in a care home, trying to fix a bike as he’s done all his life. He sees a bike. The world around him sees something else entirely. Reality becomes relative.
The game-poem mirrors the moment of reaching for a familiar tool, only to find it’s changed and no longer makes sense. Each attempt reflects how, for someone with dementia, even the simplest first step can become unstable and disorienting.
